The optical shop of UofL Physicians – Eye Specialists will be holding its annual Designer Eyewear Trunk Show on Thursday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Kentucky Lion’s Eye Center at 301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd. on the UofL Health Sciences Campus.
Frames from brands such as Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Nautica, Nike and Nine West and more will be available at big savings. All frames will be 50 percent off with the purchase of any complete pair of prescription eyewear, and all nonprescription sunglasses will be 25 percent off.
Those who attend can also benefit from the experience of UofL Physicians’ master optician, who can help people choose glasses that make them look and feel good.
“Just because you have a tough prescription doesn’t mean you have to wear ugly glasses,” said optician Chris Thompson. “We can work with anyone’s prescription to get them into a pair that they’ll love. And if there’s a frame they like that we don’t happen to have, we can order it for them and have it here quickly.”
